PinkClean Joins the Contamination Control Society of India (CCSI)

We’re proud to announce that PinkClean is now a member of the Contamination Control Society of India (CCSI).

For our clients in pharma, biotech, electronics and other controlled industries, this marks a step forward. Cleanroom cleaning is no longer a side service for us. It’s a specialist discipline, and CCSI membership connects our teams with the people and practices that shape contamination control in India.

What is the Contamination Control Society of India (CCSI)?

The Contamination Control Society of India is India’s national society for cleanroom and contamination control professionals. It brings together the people who design, operate, test and clean controlled environments.

  • India’s voice in a global network. CCSI is India’s member of the International Confederation of Contamination Control Societies (ICCCS), which allows only one society per country. Fellow members include the IEST (USA), the Society for Contamination Control (UK) and Japan’s air cleaning association.
  • Training and education. CCSI offers ICCCS-accredited cleanroom courses at Associate and Advanced levels.
  • Knowledge sharing. It runs events and brings industry, suppliers and service providers together around current cleanroom practice.

Why does CCSI membership matter for our clients?

Cleanroom standards are rising fast in India. Revised Schedule M, the national GMP standard for drug makers, now applies to large and small manufacturers alike, and India’s electronics and semiconductor plants are adding new cleanrooms. Cleaning is one of the most visible parts of contamination control, and one of the first things auditors check.

For plant heads, QA managers and facility teams, choosing a cleaning partner that is part of the contamination control community means:

  • Current practice, not old habits: our teams stay aligned with how cleanrooms are cleaned today
  • A shared language: we speak the same terms as your QA team, from Grade A–D and ISO classes to disinfectant rotation and sporicides
  • Confidence at audits: a partner that takes contamination control as seriously as you do

What PinkClean commits to as a CCSI member

  1. Trained, gowned crews for Grade A–D and ISO 5–8 areas, trained on each client’s SOP before they enter.
  2. Grade-dedicated, colour-coded tools and three-bucket mopping as standard.
  3. Disinfectant rotation and sporicidal rounds run exactly to the client’s approved programme.
  4. Signed records at the point of cleaning, ready for audits, self-inspections and Schedule M inspections.
  5. Continuous learning, keeping our teams in step with contamination control practice through the CCSI community.
